Ey up!
Lights, rooms, cameras, laundry, heating, who's in and what the weather's doing, on your iPhone and iPad. No more hopping between the Hue app, the Ring app, the Bosch app and the rest.
For iPhone and iPad. Works with your own Home Assistant hub. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What it's for
A modern house has an app for everything: the lights, the doorbell, the washing machine, the telly. myYam puts them together on one screen, so anyone in the house can find what they need.
Every room with its lights, scenes, speakers, TVs and devices. Switch a whole room, or Upstairs, Downstairs, Outside or the House at once.
Rooms →Who's in, the weather, your calendar, reminders, cameras and the news, folded into tidy cards you can rearrange.
Home →The latest picture from each doorbell and camera, and live view with sound at a tap.
Cameras →A countdown to when the washer or dryer finishes, thermostats, locks, alarms, blinds, fans and robot vacuums.
Devices →"Hey Siri, My Yam, turn off the lights." Widgets for lights, laundry, who's home, weather and cameras.
Siri and widgets →Six northern looks, from Flat Cap to Pigeon Loft, each with its own colours, splash screen and app icon.
The looks →Rooms and zones
Each room folds open to show its scenes, lights, speakers, TVs and every other device. Tap a scene like Relax or Nightlight, dim a lamp, pick a colour, or turn the whole room off.
Weather
The weather now and for the next 12 hours on Home, and a full page with the 24-hour and 10-day forecast, the chance of rain, wind, UV, sunrise and sunset, and any weather warnings. Forecasts come from Apple Weather.
For home, wherever you are, or any town or postcode, in °C or °F.
Siri, widgets and the Lock Screen
Start with "My Yam" and Siri does the rest, at home or out:
Add widgets to your Home Screen and Lock Screen: a room's lights with an on/off button, the laundry countdown, who's home, the weather and a camera. While the washer or dryer runs, the countdown also shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

Make it yours
Each look changes the app's colours, the splash screen, the icon at the top of every page and the app icon on your Home Screen, with a night-time version for dark mode.

On iPad too
On an iPad, myYam spreads out: cameras two to a row and room for everything. Mount one on the wall by the door and it's the house's dashboard.
How it works
An iPhone app can't stay awake all day to run a house, so myYam works with Home Assistant, a free hub that runs at home on a small box or a spare computer. Home Assistant connects to Philips Hue, Ring, Bosch Home Connect, LG, Apple TV, HomePod, PlayStation and thousands more; myYam is the friendly front door to all of it.
Private by design
Needs iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, and a Home Assistant hub at home.
